Who We Are

Sbarbatelle is a non-profit association of female wine producers under 40 from all over Italy. We represent a new generation of women in the wine world, carrying forward the legacy of our territories with an innovative spirit.

Since 2024, we have formally created a safe and inclusive space for sharing experiences, facing common challenges, and growing together.

Our Story: From Event to Movement

Sbarbatelle was born in 2017 as a wine-tasting event in Monferrato, Asti, thanks to AIS Asti, AIS Piemonte, and Paolo Poncino's vision. In a short time, it evolved into a movement bringing together over 200 young female wine producers under 40 from across Italy.

Today, the Sbarbatelle Association is a community that catalyzes innovation in the Italian wine sector, celebrating cultural richness and wine heritage through the experiences and lives of the women driving this change.

Our Mission

We are committed to promoting gender equality, valuing diversity and the uniqueness of our members, and building an active and dynamic support network.

Every year, through initiatives and events, we expand the visibility and influence of our members and the Sbarbatelle name, creating new opportunities for connection and growth in the wine industry.
